My absolute favorite place to learn the basics of a language is Code School.

Why?

  • Everything happens inside your browser. No tools required, no hassle, learn from anywhere.
  • You can get through a section in 20 minutes, having learned and applied your new knowledge.
  • You're learning from an instructor (in a video), with written and visual examples.
  • Even having "learned" a language previously, it helps to get a strong foundation in that language, or as a review.
